There is an innate connection between movement and health. When we allow our lives to become sedentary, our bodies respond by growing weak and our health diminishes. For those touched with cancer or living with chronic diseases like arthritis and mental health conditions, there is nothing worse than sitting still all day.  

Yoga Care for You uses an evidence-based approach to create yoga classes specifically tailored to the specific needs of each client. I create specifically designed yoga classes for individual cancer patients and survivors to help against chronic pain, fatigue, and stress. We place an emphasis on gentle and therapeutic yoga to provide a low-impact and holistic approach to managing your physical and mental health.

All classes are taught personally by me, Meena, a registered nurse, and oncology specialist with over 15 years of experience in healthcare. I have personally experienced the tremendous power of yoga as a healing tool, and I am excited to share my knowledge with you. 

In my classes, I draw upon my traditional Indian yoga practices to create a unique and effective approach for each of my students. As a C-IAYT yoga therapist and Yoga4cancer teacher, I specialize in tailoring my classes to your specific needs. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to yoga therapy for chronic conditions. I'm also a certified meditation teacher and certified in Healing Touch Levels 1& 2.
